Mr. Wear stated that the exterior was <br />going to remain as it was with the exception <br />adding a few windows and doors. The blocks are <br />waterproofed and ^h:. Wear stated he was really against <br />painting, however, he may in a couple of years paint <br />the exterior beige. <br />Hurr moved to recommend approval of the conditional <br />use permit for general office space pending building <br />inspector's approval of plans and installation of the <br />sprinkler system. Motion seconded by Adams. <br />Vote: Ayes (7), Nays (0).. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Mrs. Cici and representatives of the church were <br />present. It was suggested that the church and/or <br />Mrs. Cici should check with the highway department <br />regarding the possibility of obtaining traffic <br />signs warning the traffic of the church/day care <br />center. There was further discussion of the one <br />joint application versus two applications. The <br />Church expressed their wish to process the <br />application jointly. They stated they were aware <br />a new application would have to be made if the <br />church denomination changes and further stated <br />that the license of Mrs. Cici could not be <br />transferred so if the operation of the day care <br />changed a new application would also have to <br />be submitted to the City. <br />Hurr moved to recommend approval of the joint <br />conditional use permit of tLo Reorganized Church <br />of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and the <br />Busy Beaver Day Care Center conditioned upon <br />approval of the State Welfare Department, State <br />Fire Marshall (letter of March 9, 1979), and the <br />Orono Building Inspector (eight items listed in <br />his memo of March 19, 1979).
