Mabusth noted that the existing <br />ordinance would require variances for such <br />structures as opposed to a conditional use permit. <br />Ad€uns noted that this still would involve a <br />minimum of three meetings and a possible condition <br />of applying for such a permit yearly. Mabusth <br />agreed that a conditional use permit would involve <br />a minimum of three meetings but she doubted if <br />annual review for a permit of this nature would <br />be required. <br />PROPOSED AMENDMJJNTS TO <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURE <br />ORDINANCE <br />Planning Commission <br />Recommendation <br />Wilson asked for the following sections to be <br />rewritten for clarification: <br />31.320 Height Restriction <br />a) Storage shall be permitted in attic or <br />loft spaces of one story accessory <br />buildings. <br />This is not clear ** does this mean in this <br />case this structure could exceed 20* if use <br />is made of loft area. <br />31.342 Lakeshore Yard Setback <br />No accessory building or structure shall be <br />located in any lakeshore yard except for <br />docks and piers pursuant to.Section 31.381. <br />31.360 <br />Does this mean any lakeshore yard - 100* or <br />120' lakeshore yard or does this mean the <br />0-75' lakeshore setback area - this should be <br />specified. <br />Dwelling Use Prohibited <br />No cellar, basement, tent, trailer, recreation <br />vehicle or accessory building shall at any <br />time be used as an occupied dwelling. <br />Doesn't the City prevent people from moving <br />into their basements or cellars before <br />principal structure is completed? <br />iis <br />ter-f V .: • ' <br />■
