Staff does note that this endroachment <br />is minimal and occurs on the non-lakeshore side <br />which is heavily wooded. <br />Lakeshore Setback: There exists a stockpile of, <br />excavated material ai^ brush witnin /S ft. of <br />the lagoon^ The contractor has promised to remove <br />safRe-^ssoon as the weather allows. The road <br />itself is_approximately 50__ft. from the lagooiT, <br />bufc so is tne'existing driveway easement which <br />nroviaes the only access to this lot. Tnis <br />easement was cidSFiy shown in this location <br />during the subdivision review two years ago. <br />It should have been addressed at that time but <br />was not. Because of the earlier approval, staff <br />believes that a variance for the driveway location <br />is appropriate provided the driveway remains <br />gravel and is not paved. <br />Summary: Variance 34.452 sideyard - 2 ft. <br />34.201 lakeshore - 25 ft. <br />Council Meeting - June 29, 1978 <br />Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to approve <br />the request of John Hannah, 2608 Mapleridge Road, <br />for a variance to side yard setback and 75' lake- <br />shore setback, subject to: <br />1. Removal of excavated material and brush <br />2. Driveway remains gravel and wiU ; .e protected <br />to prevent erosion <br />3.
