It does not app^ ^t apj^val
for a retaining wall will be forthcoming from the city. Based on ^
city's cooments and on DNR policy, it appears that your permit applica
tion for a retaining wall would be denied. Please advise our office
within two weeks of receipt of this letter which method of shcare. protection
you propose to pursue. At that time, we will finalize your file.
It is also noted that the copy of the plat indicates that Lot Block #1
Wildhurst Tfail contains 53 feet of shoreline on Forest Lakei this may have
changed however, as the shoreline area may have been excavated under a pre
vious permit, which would increase the shoreline of Lot #4.
If you have any questions pertaining to this matter, please feel ft*ee to
call roe at your convenience.
Sincerely,
ait LokkferooeKent
Regional Hydrologist
Kl^RS/ch
Atl^^hroent
cc: City of Orono
■
AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
•;<
