• • <br />I <br />MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF JUNE 15, 1981 <br />The Planning Commission met on the above date. The fol- <br />^\)wing members were present; Chairman Hammerel, Goetten, <br />^*^dams, Frahm, Jabbour, Rovegno, Jeanne Mabusth represented <br />the City staff. Norman Paurus was present for the City <br />Council. <br />The applicant was present. Mabusth noted the certifi <br />cate of mailing and the affidavit of publication. There <br />was no one from the audience to address this application. <br />Mabusth stated that the preliminary subdivision was again <br />reviewed by the Park Commission. They felt that the neigh <br />borhood park, known as Daniels Park, was sufficient to <br />serve proposed PRD. <br />Jabbour noted that the sewer units are to be paid with <br />each twin home building permit. <br />Rovegno stated that he was appalled by the amount of the <br />Park De lication Fees since the City was taking an addi <br />tional 15 ft. of right of way on Blain Avenue where the <br />City refused direct access and that they were taking an <br />additional 7 ft. of right of way on Shoxeline. This is <br />where the City has consistently fought to keep a two <br />lane road width. <br />0 <br />Adams was concerned that the sewer system in the area <br />s inadequate. <br />Hammerel moved to approve this 24 residential unit FRD <br />subdivision of George Hussman subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1) Plat road, to be named Wiley Place, is to be a pub <br />lic road (30' pavement, 80' diameter cul de sac, 7 <br />ton capacity). Obtain new permit from Hennepin County <br />Highway Department if necessary - right turn lane at <br />west end of property is required. <br />Holding Pond designated as an outlot with 15' ease <br />ment designation for storm sewer network. City to <br />require a flcwage and conservation easement over <br />retention pond. M.C.W.D. must review this proposal. <br />Developer must submit grading, planting and erosion <br />control plans. <br />Dedicate 7' of additional right of way on Cty. Rd. <br />15. Dedicate 15’ of additional right of way on <br />Blaine Avenue. Dedicate 5' for walkway. Dedicate <br />drainage easements over entire pond area. <br />Developer is responsible for extension of sewer and <br />water service to each unit. <br />0 <br />ATTENDANCE <br />7:30 PM <br />GEORGE HUSSMAN <br />3660 Shoreline Dr <br />PRD Subdivision <br />#585 <br />7:30-7:35 PM
