% - <br />MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF MAY 18, 1981 <br />The Planning Commission met on the above date. The <br />following members were present: Acting Chairman <br />Tom Frahm, George Rovegno, Jabbour, McDonald. <br />Arriving late were Tim Adams and Chairman Hammerel. <br />Also attending were Jeanne Mabusth and Tom Jacobs <br />representing the City Staff. Gregg Hannah attended <br />representing the Council and arriving later in the <br />evening was Jo Ellen Hurr also from council. <br />Mr. Tearse was not present but the owners of the <br />property Mr. Douglas Skarp and Mr. Henry Skarp <br />were present. <br />Mr. Jacobs reviewed the application noting the <br />application dealt with a request for special <br />LR-IB zoning standard for the property. He <br />advised this would involve a rezoning and staff <br />could not recommend this. <br />Rovegno stated if the applicant received credit <br />for wetlands because it is sewered then what <br />else is required for this review. He advised <br />staff to review the findings of the Planning <br />Commission with applicant and report back to <br />the next meeting. <br />McDonald moved to deny the application for <br />LR-IB zoning. <br />Jabbour moved to second. Vote: Ayes (4) Nays (0). <br />The Donald Weiss's were present, they requested a <br />re-examing of the original application and asked <br />that the side set back be moved closer to the <br />south property line. <br />Staff advised Planning Commission that the <br />locations of the existing buildings on the <br />property to the south were almost on lot <br />line. The 10 ft. distance would have to be <br />maintained for fire protection. <br />Jabbour moved to let the old motion stand. <br />Tim Adams moved to second. Vote Ayes (5) Nays (0) <br />Mr. Jacobs reviewed that this was a renewal of a <br />lot area and lot width variance. <br />Planning Commission noted of the encroachment of <br />the deck into the 0-75 ft. set back area. <br />Planning Commission felt that the City did not <br />ATTENDANCE <br />7:30 PM <br />H.H.
