The Planning Commission then <br />selected one of the smaller sized house diagrams pre <br />sented by Bredeson. <br />Jabbour no+-ed the following recommended building en <br />velope for che lot: <br />40 ft. lakeshore setback <br />10 ft. from the north side of the property <br />25 ft. from cul-de-sac or street <br />Jabbour moved to table the variance application of <br />Robert Bredeson subject to his submitting a revised <br />plan noting these conditions. <br />Hammerel moved to second# Vote: Ayes (6), Nays (03. <br />Mike and Tim Mehner and Glenn Hubbard of the Union Oil <br />Company were present. There was no on in the audience <br />to address this application. The applicant stated that <br />they propose to buy the service station from Union Oil <br />and to operate a full service station. Staff noted that <br />the Marina committee would review the fuel dock and boat <br />towing service at there April 22nd meeting. <br />MIKE MEHNER <br />3398 North <br />Shore Dr. <br />Conditional <br />Use Permit <br />#608 <br />8:25-8:40 <br />McDonald noted that it has been a year since the service <br />station use was discontinued and that we must address <br />this point in the review. <br />Hubbard noted the cimount of investment and physical improve <br />ments placed into the service station and that the economy <br />had created problems in meeting the year deadline. <br />r'‘ <br />Planning Commission then noted the public support and <br />comments from other residents who wanted a service sta <br />tion back in that area. <br />Hammerel noted the existing landscapijag would have to be <br />upgraded.and that much of the original plantings were <br />dead. <br />Adams moved to approve the Conditional Use Permit of <br />Mike Mehner for a full-service station in ggfl^ideration <br />of the lapse in time of more than a year of that specific <br />use based on the condition of economy and the public support <br />of that use arid subject to the condition that the Ian <br />scaping be upgraded. <br />WV' -
