This is also building code maximum area for <br />residential accessory buildings and for buildings without <br />frost footings. <br />no accessory building permitted in front yards except on <br />lakeshore lots <br />conditional use permit required for all accessory buildings <br />on through lots <br />prohibits dwelling use of accessory buildings <br />10 ft. setbacks required to principle buildings <br />garage doors facing street must be set back 30 ft. <br />accessory buildings permitted in rear yards with 5’ setback <br />garages permitted in side or rear yards with 10' setback <br />barns and stables require 150 ft. setback <br />Issues <br />1. There is no limit on the number of accessory buildings allowed <br />on any lot <br />2. There is no correlation between lot size and setback or accessory <br />building size <br />3. All urban and rural zones have the same standards despite <br />different needs <br />4. Residential and commercial districts have the same standards <br />5. Docks are not specifically addressed
