2640 Watertown Road <br />Long Lake* Minnesota 55356 <br />Dear Mr. Benson: <br />I am writing in support of the possible plan of Parkview opening an • <br />adolescent treatment center in Long Lake. <br />I am very much in favor of this happening. I feel that our community <br />needs this facility as a resource center and just to help make the <br />community more aware of Chemical Dependency and kids. <br />I am chemically dependent and have been sober 6*s years, fiy addiction <br />started in Junior High, that was 15 years ago. The problem is worse <br />now and more coimon among young people. <br />I am a resident of Orono. I'm also on the Chemical Dependency advisory <br />committee for Orono Schools. I have a nine year old son in the Orono <br />school system, and I really believe strongly that this treatment center <br />would help us as a community to deal with the problems we face. <br />Chemical Dependency is here in Orono among the kids.
