At that meeting while we were discussing the DNR <br />hardcover regulations, a comment was made to me that I should review <br />not only the background of the DNR regulations but also the back­ <br />ground of the Orono Hardcover regulations. In response to that <br />comment, I indicated that I had spoken with Allen Olson concerning <br />the background of the City's regulations and the practical difficulty <br />in reviewing the voluminous background reports at this time. <br />I did not intend to convey the impression that Mr. Olson would not <br />make any of the City's reports available to me. To the contrary, <br />he specifically indicated that the reports were available to public <br />inspection, although such would be difficult and burdensome. I <br />concurred with Mr. Olson that at this time it would not be necessary <br />to sift through boxes of files to find these reports. <br />I want to emphasize that Mr. Olson has been very helpful to me in <br />my conversations with him and has taken a very objective and pro­ <br />fessional approach to the planning aspects on Baldur Park. <br />I hope this letter alleviates any misunderstanding. <br />Very truly yours, <br />OPPEp^IMER, WOLFF,.
