:e <br />BIBLE <br />Crystal <br />North <br />nal Use <br />ill <br />MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF MARCH 15, 1982 Page 2 <br />RODNEY BURWELL <br />1100 Millston Roac <br />Conditional Use <br />Permit <br />#676 <br />i-'- i. <br />Dave Engguist and Lynn Sloat were representing Rodney <br />Burwell's application. <br />Hcunmerel noted that the applicant had been allowed to <br />start the addition with the restriction of no installation <br />of kitchen facilities. <br />Jacobs noted that this still holds until the conditional <br />use permit is approved, because they could still use this <br />as a bedroom addition if they couldn't get the conditional <br />use permit approved. <br />Hammerel asked if there were any problems with installing <br />kitchen facilities? <br />‘ I <br />Jacobs stated that tnere would be no problems with ”4^ <br />installation. <br />Hammerel stated that there should be no problem with the new <br />septic system installation because there is adequate <br />acreage• <br />Goetten asked if th^y were planning to remove the existing <br />garage? <br />Applicant stated as of this time that the existing garage <br />would remain. <br />Kelley stated that the Planning Commission should include <br />in its motion the fact that this apartment should never <br />be used as a rental use. <br />Hammerel moved to approve the conditional use permit <br />for Rodney Burwell at 1100 Millston Road for a . • <br />caretaker's (staff) apartment subject to the conditj.Cn that <br />this apartment never be used for rental use. <br />Callahan seconded. Vote: Ayes (4), Nays (0). <br />Gary Peterson and Dennis Trooien, Peterson's attorneyr were <br />present. Peterson presented his new proposal to the Planning . . <br />commission which consisted of a 4 lot PRD subdivision. SuMivision <br />He discussed with the Planning Commission concerning <br />density and hardcover. <br />Applicant stated that they felt that they had enough <br />area for 5 buildable lots but they were applying for <br />only 4. <br />Jacobs showed Planning Commission the figures of the <br />proposed unit density and how staff calculated that only <br />4 \inits would be allowed, with the credit allowed for a <br />PRD. <br />Callahan asked who advised staff that Ordinance 31.841 (b) <br />was not applicable to PRD subdivisions? <br />ir <br />m
