When they are <br />releaseirsinriiitx with wild ducks they can transmit diseases to wild <br />birds. We view the potential for the introduction and spread of Duck <br />Viral Enteritis (DVE) from captive-raised ducks released to the wild <br />for wild ducks by the Fish and Wildlife Service. <br />/ /'liftflllfSf <br />/North under these conditions are severely taxed to maintain normal body <br />f functions and become very susceptible to disease which can be easily <br />V introduced under conditions found at artificial feeding and watering <br />sites. <br />\/ ‘Last sunner during our hot dry weather we saw a high Incidence of Type C <br />i Sotulism in ducks in the TWin Cities area.
