% <br />V- <br />#179Dick Benson, City Administrator <br />Hank MuJiich, Zoning .\dministrator <br />September 16, 1976 <br />Ken Heroux - 4445 North Shore Drive <br />Variance - Side Yard <br />Tlie Heroux*s are making a new proposal for an addition to their existing liome <br />after Council's denial of tlieir original proposal (#159) consisting of a <br />two-story, three-car garage structure. <br />% <br />The lot requirements in this district are 43,560 sq. ft. area, 140' lot width, <br />and 10' side yard setback. This new proposal would meet the side yard setback <br />requirement, but variances of 18,810 sq. ft. in area and 65' lot width would <br />be necessary. Variances are-required before expan<ling a structure on a sub­ <br />standard lot. <br />I have nothing definite, but it appears some grading wuld be necessary if <br />this addition is to be built. Ihe extent of grading should lie defined. <br />The new proposal consists of a tuck under garage so the existing, non-confoming <br />garage should be removed before any permits would be issued. <br />1 have one copy of the building plans on file.
