They felt there was a good possibility <br />that four lots would have been the result. <br />The Planning Gomnission felt that Council acted against <br />Ordinance Section 39.200 which is as follows: <br />*yianning Conroission Procedure. The Council requires <br />that ail proposed subdivisions shall have the prior <br />approval of the Planning Coomission before receiving <br />final approval by the Council. It is, therefore, <br />necessary that certain steps be taken and data <br />asseal>led that will enable the Planning Coomission to <br />stu^ the proposed subdivision in the li^t of its <br />relation to ^e City plan for growth and development, <br />and in the lifiht of the general topography and the <br />character of tiie development." <br />Hdoe moved, McDonald seconded, that Council reconsider <br />their decision on this matter. Motion * Ayes (8), Nays (0). <br />The Planning Commission then asked Hank Muhich to draft up <br />a memo to the Council concerning this matter to be pre­ <br />sented at the Council meeting of September 27. <br />Dunlap moved, Hannah seconded, that Brad Van Nest and <br />John Guthrie represent the Planning Commission at this <br />Septenber 27 Council meeting. Motion - Ayes (8), Nays (0). <br />Hannah moved, Guthrie seconded, that the minutes of the <br />Septenber 7, 1976, meeting be approved.
