Section 6. Redevelopment Proiccts. Rcdc\elopmcnt projects shall be defined as any project to cither remove <br />and replace existing structures or to enlarge existing structures. These projects will be charged a portion of the <br />base tiiink fee adjusted for the area of expansion of impervious surface above the existing conditions. The table <br />below lists the percentage of the acreage base trunk fee based on the area of imperv ious surface expansion and <br />adjusted for the type of land use. Adjustment of Storm Water Trunk Fee Charges The intent of the storm water trunk fee is to provide <br />funding for improvements to the storm water system as the result of dev elopment in the city. Current regulations <br />require property owners to provide sionn water treatment for the stomi water from the development property. <br />The city reserves the right to develop policies to provide storm water trunk fee credits for stonn water <br />improvements on developing properties that provide additional treatment benefits beyond what is required to <br />treat the storm water runofl’from the development site. <br />Section 9. Payment of Storm Water Trunk Fee Charges All applicable Storm Water Trunk Fee charges shall be <br />paid in full before any building or land alteration permits are issued for the project. <br />Section 10. Supplying Information. Ilie owner, occupant or person in charge of the subject property shall supply <br />the city with such information as the city may reasonably request related to the use. development and area of the <br />property Willful failure to provide such information or to falsify it is a violation of this section. <br />Section 11. Drainage and Frosion C’ontrol. <br />Subd. I. - Drainage Plan. In the development, improvement or alteration of land, the direction, quantity or <br />quality of drainage shall not be changed unless plans for the dev elopment arc submitted to the City Engineer, and <br />arc found to be in compliance with the city's storm water management policies. Run off sliall be properly <br />channeled into a stonn drain, watercourse, ponding area or other public facility. <br />Subd. 2. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan . Prior to the issuance of a building or grading permit for any <br />dev elopment, improvement or alteration of land, a plan for erosion and sedimentation control shall be presented <br />with the site plan. The erosion and sedimentation control plan .shall specify the measures to be used before, <br />during and afier construction until the soil and slope are stabilized by permanent cover. These control measures <br />shall be maintained in good working order until site stabilization occurs. <br />Page 3 of 4
