The <br />second Council meeting, which falls on or near the Christmas holiday, has been canceled. <br />We will have the next scheduled Council meeting on Monday. January 14, 2002. We <br />therefore are requesting authorization to do a normal claims processing for the canceled <br />Council meeting. This practice has been done in December each year with the Council <br />then formally approving the claims at the first meeting in January of the following year. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to authorize the City Treasurer to disburse City funds in payment of claims <br />received for the December 24* Council meeting, which has been canceled, and that such <br />paid claims be presented for formal approval at the January 14.2002, Council meeting.
