Site visit to Forest Lake Landing-no action taken <br />July 2.2001 <br />Forest Lake Landing Discussed-no action taken <br />August 6. <br />Silber moved, Meyers seconded, to recommend the Forest Lake Landing be classified as a <br />.Qjj^lake access site, which would allow pedestrian access to the lake, fishing from the <br />shor^auochlng canoes and other small boats not requiring a trailer. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />September 4.2001 <br />McDermott moved, Meyers seconded, to create a Class VI, “Naturar Lakeshore Access <br />Site, which would include naturalUarioo of the shoreline for sites deemed appropriate for <br />restoratloo to the natural habitat of the area, pedestrian access to the area, fishing from <br />the shoreline, with boating not being allowed. <br />VOTE: Ayes 3, Meyers, Bouchard, McDermott; Nays 4, Use, SUber, Wolfe, Balvorson. <br />MOTION FAILED. <br />It was the consensus of the Park Commission to classify Forest Lake Landing as a Class I based <br />jpon the historical use of the site.
