The propeny Is located within the I, Industrial <br />District. ADC Supply Company has been operating as a wholesale building products w arehouse and <br />office within the existing building. The Orono Municipal Code permits • warehousing’*and <br />wholesaling” in the I district. It is our position that the proposed use of the building for warehousing <br />and wholesaling is permitted. <br />Last year .ADC moved onto the property and had used the outside lot for storage of product. It was <br />our understanding the outdoor storage used on the lot last year w as due to the lack of interior storage <br />racks and those racks would be installed eliminating the need for outdoor storage. The zoning <br />regulations do Qfit permit outdoor storage of any t> pe. No outside storage will be permitted without <br />a conditional use permit. <br />Outdoor storage is only allowed by a conditional use permit issued by the Orono City Council. The <br />required sub.miltals for a conditional use permit will include at a minimum: <br />1. Complete Land Use/Conditional Use Permit application form (attached) <br />2. $350.00 application fee <br />3. Certified list of all property owners within 350' of the property. <br />4.
