The intent of the ordinance is to not <br />allow fences over 3 'A feet to be located in a functional street yard. <br />The total width of the right of way is 40*. therefore the fence would be located 40* from the nearest adjacent <br />property line. The recommendation of approval includes the recommendation that the fence shall be <br />constructed to visually e.xpose the “finished” side of the fence towards the south to adjacent property owners <br />and public right of way. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt the attached resolution approving variances.
