#01-2708 Michael and Jeanie McClelland <br />2170 Minnetonka Avenue <br />pugg 7 nf 2 _________________ <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Sufr recommends approval of the application based on the fact the property is a comer lot with one street <br />frontage located adjacent a non-developed street that is not planned to be further developed or improved. <br />The side >'ard adjacent to the street functions as an interior side lot line. The intent of the ordinance is to not <br />allow fences over 3 'A feet to be located in a functional street yard. <br />The total width of the right of way is 40*. therefore the fence would be located 40* from the nearest adjacent <br />property line. The recommendation of approval includes the recommendation that the fence shall be <br />constructed to visually e.xpose the “finished” side of the fence towards the south to adjacent property owners <br />and public right of way. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt the attached resolution approving variances.
