CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL . <br />MQ. 4004___. <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISIONS 1 AND 2 <br />FILE NO. 2305 <br />>VHEREAS, Roger and Elizabeth Olsen (hereinafter "the appUcanls*0 are ow.ers <br />of the property located at 815 Partcnv^-ood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter the <br />City") and legally described as foUoN\-s; <br />Lot 2, Block 2, Partenwood (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has appUed to the City for vwances to Mumcipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivisions I and 2 to allow the retnodelmg and «xpaMion of <br />the exis-lng residence to Include a four stall garage and additional livyig space located 34 ftotn <br />the 929.4 ordinao* high water mark where 75* is required and requirmg a hardcover vanance <br />of 4.413 s.f. (l5.3Vo) where 5,815 s.f. (20%) is existing and none is aUowed as shoNvn on <br />Exhibit A. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, TffiREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono. <br />1. <br />2. <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2305. <br />The property is located in the LR-IB Single Family Lakeshorc R«identlal <br />Zoning District requiring one acre in area. The property consists of 1.02 acre. <br />3.The Orono Planiilng Commission reviewed this application on November 17. <br />1997 and recommended approval of the proposed vanance based upon th <br />following findings: <br />1.
