MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Monday. July 21.2003 <br />6:00 o ’clock p jn. <br /><«!*) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING <br />COUNCIL MEETINGS OF JUNE 23 AND JULY 14.2003 <br />Rahn reported that, during the June 23^ Council Meeting, the Gumnit application, as well as <br />were the Planning Commission rKommendations and justification for approval of the Killian <br />and Denali applications. <br />Hawn stated that many of the applications for the July 14* Council meeting were on the consent <br />agenda, other than the McGlynn application. The Council spent a great deal of time discussing <br />the boathouse restoration and, ultimately, found that no variance was necessary and that they <br />wished to see the stnjcture remain. <br />(02$) OTHER ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />Gaffron stated that a Work Session will be held on August 6, at 5:30 P.M. to discuss remodel <br />versus rebuild and the idea of quantifying variance requests. <br />(«2I) PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR JUNE 16.2M3 <br />Mabuslli moved.
