r <br />? <br />Ic <br />Page 2. <br />Our goal is to operate a complete child care and nursery school <br />facility in accordance with the standards achieved in our other <br />centers. Our services may also include night and weekend child <br />care to meet the needs of parents working hours other than 6 AM <br />to 6 PM Monday through Friday, and all such other times when such <br />services may be needed, such as hospitalization of one parent, <br />unexp'^cted trips, weekend vacation retreat for parents who wish to <br />leave their child in a safe, responsible and educational environment. <br />Our purchase agreement with the ualvery Memorial Church is contingent <br />upon New Horizons obtaining a Conditional Use Permit on or about <br />April 15, 1978 for our needs. <br />Our research indicates a need in the community for the services we <br />provide beyond the services provided by other facilities in the area. <br />The services our school hopes to provide are: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6. <br />7. <br />Full day care - 6 AM to possibly 10 PM during the week <br />Toddler care - children from 16 months to 31 months <br />Pre-School care - children 31 months to 6 years of age <br />Latch Key care - children up to 12 years of age (before <br />and after school hours for working parents) <br />Specialized Nursery School Program for pre-schoolers <br />Drop In Care - hourly - children from 16 months to 6 years <br />Weekend day and evening care for children in all of the <br />above age ranges. <br />this weekend and evening care service may or may not be <br />offered depending cn the response and need for ^lddit^cnnl <br />inocme that the accessory services mentioned below would <br />provide. <br />We, at the same time, would like a Conditional Use Permit to allow <br />the following accessory services: <br />a. <br />b. <br />Rental of the building for community and other civic <br />gatherings including such activities as plays or <br />offering movies for children on weekends. <br />Rental of the building on weekends for wedding recep< <br />tions. This purpose would involve alcohol on the <br />premises. <br />Our need in attempting to acquire a Conditional Use Permit for these <br />accessory services is three-fold: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />To provide community services by utilizing a large <br />facility and parking lot that could easily accommodate <br />such. <br />To provide additional income to make our mortgage pay­ <br />ments if the income from the day care and nursery school <br />is insufficient. <br />Assure the bank that there will, in fact, be enough total <br />revenue to secure their mortgage payments.
