Fisdier; <br />I am writing to you again because of a renewed complaint arising from your beeping <br />liorses on your property. Tliere are now four liorses uiiich apjxiar to be staying in <br />the front pasture due to the inordinate amount of manure covering tlie ground in <br />that area. The ordinance reqtiiring an acre of pasture for each horse is meant <br />partly as a neasure to ensure that tlie droyipings are not concentrated in a small <br />area. Perhaps bv feeding them in another location or some other encouragement, <br />you could restrict their presence in the one area closest to your neighbor's <br />home. <br />In any event, the accioiulation of r.nnurc now present is a public nuisance endanger­ <br />ing the public health as defined by Orono Ordinance No. 82.050b. Tlie manure must <br />be ploived under or removed within 15 days or 1 will be forced to issue a violation <br />tag. ,Mso, the animals have knoebed dowTi the fencing tliat protected your neighbor's <br />trees and are again feeding on the trees.
