The <br />addition would replace an existing trace season porch and add another 223 s.f. of living space to <br />the home. The actual hardcover woul^ot incite on the property. The 19 ’ X 28’ addition <br />would connect the main residence with the gqrage and be used as a master bedroom suite and <br />storage space. <br />Weinberger noted that staff recommends appro^l of the variance and pointed out that the <br />applicants request that the removals/rom the driA^ay be delayed until after the construction in <br />order to provide the construction yucks a staging arehswhile they work. In addition, Weinberger <br />stated that staff recommends the (nstallation of gutters^companv the addition iiinstallation of gutters accompany the addition in order to direct <br />water from the south side of tb^residence towards the lak^and not directly at the neighbor. <br />Gary Marquant, 2617 Casdo Point Road, stated that he supportb^his neighbors proposed <br />addition and installatiop^f gutters. <br />Hawn moved, M^usth seconded, to recommend approval of Application #02-2844, Bruce <br />and Carol lledyiom, 2601 Casco Point Road, a hardcover variance h^nermit alteration to <br />existing hari^ver in the 75-250 ’ setback to permit construction of a residential addition, <br />subject to yie three staff conditions as noted in their memo of 11/11/02, mih the exception <br />that the blacktop removab be allowed to occur next spring, by May 30,200^^long with <br />the installation of gutters.
