MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, October 28,2002 <br />7:00 o*clock p.m. <br />OAI tt 0 <br />NOV 1 2 2002 <br />ROLL <br />CITY U^ OHONO <br />• • . <br />--------^ <br />The Council met on the above mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Barbara Peterson; Council Members Bob Sansevere, Jim Murphy, Jim White, and Jay Nygard; <br />and Late Arrival City Attorney Thomas Barrett; Representing staff were City Administrator Ron <br />Moorse, Planning Director Mike GafTron, Zoning Administrators Paul Weinberger and Wendy <br />Bottenberg, City Engineer Tom Kellogg, Public Service Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder <br />Kristi Anderson. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:01 P.M. <br />A. DONATION <br />Mayor Peterson accepted an $8,000 donation from Jim Anderst, owner of the Narrows Saloon, <br />proceeds from its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament held this summer. <br />Rick Meyers, of the Park Commission, thanked Mr. Anderst for his community spirit and <br />recognized him for his generous fundraising efforts on behalf of the City Park Commission. <br />Meyers stated that The Narrows Saloon in Navarre has become a focal point for community <br />activities and indicated that he looked forward to future fundraising efforts. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Approve/Amend <br />Items U\l, 18,20,21, and 16 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Murphy moved, Sansevere seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. Vote: <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. Regular Council Meeting of October 14,2002 <br />Murphy moved, Sansevere seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular Council <br />Meeting of October 14,2002 as presented. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - 7:00 P.M. <br />3.
