* . <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 14,2002 <br />ROLL <br />The Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Barbara Peterson. Council Members Bob Sansevere. Jav Nveard. Jim White, and Jim <br />9 m mm <br />Murphy. Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director Mike <br />Gafl^n, City Attorney Tom Barrett, Zoning Administrator Paul Weinberger, City Engineer <br />Tom Kellogg, Public Services Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Alissa Wintemheinier. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.C^ru •• .AM • <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />OCT 2 8 2002 <br />CtlY UC OHONU <br />1. Approvc/Amend <br />Items 5,11,12,14, IS, 16, 17, 18,19. 20,21,23,25, and 28 were added to the Consent <br />Agenda. Items 3 and 6 were removed from the Consent Agenda. <br />White moved, and Nygard seconded, to approve the consent agenda as amended. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />1 a. Recognition of Mary Ann Johnson <br />Mayor Peterson read the resolution recognizing Mary Ann Johnson ’s dedicated service to <br />the City of Orono and presented her with the framed resolution. She thanked Ms. Johnson <br />and wished her a long and happy retirement. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. Joint City Council, Planning Commission, and Park Commission Work Session <br />of September 1?, 2002 <br />White moved, and Nygard seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Joint City <br />Council, Planning Commission, and Park Commission Work Session of September <br />12,2002. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />3. Regular Council Meeting of September 23,2002 <br />Mayor Peterson stated she had removed the item from the Consent Agenda because she <br />had not attended the meeting. <br />■lisii naif I ■
