Variance Requested: To permit addition to be 39’ from front property line. <br />Application Summar>’: The applicant has requested a front yard setback variance to construct a <br />2'/: story addition over the existing garage. The screen porch above the garage A^ill be removed and <br />the addition will be constructed in its place. <br />The existing residence is located 36.8’ from the front property line. The garage is setback 2.2’ <br />therefore 39’ from the front property line. The applicant wishes to build above the existing <br />garage. The topography of the property, location of the existing residence, flow of the residence <br />and the structural soundness limits where an addition can take place. <br />Discussion: <br />The existing residence was built in 1965. The property is located in a two acre zoning district <br />However, the neighborhood is more in character with one acre zoning standards.
