Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 (B): Accessory Bnilding Location: No detached garages or other <br />accessory building shall be located nearer the front or street lot line than the principal building on <br />that lot. To permit a 28’ X 35 ’ accessory structure closer to the street lot line than the residence. <br />Application Summary: The applicants have requested a variance to permit a storage building to <br />be located nearer the street than the principal structure. The building is 28’ X 35 ’ or 980 s.f.. The <br />storage building will be located at the rear of the property approximately 330 ’ from the street. <br />The accessory building meets all setback requirements for the RR-IB zoning district and the square <br />footage of the building meets the size restrictions of the accessory strucnire ordinance. <br />The subject property is serviced by an on-site septic system. The new location of the storage <br />building will not interfere with the current septic system or future sites within this property. <br />There is currently a shed on the property which will be removed when the accessory structure is <br />built. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />Planning Commission recommended by a 7 to 0 vote to: <br />To approve application as presented. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />To approve the enclosed resolution. <br />i
