Because the bridge will be offset to the east of the existing <br />bridge, Mn/DOT needs a temporary permit to construct, wMch includes a right-of-entry and permit <br />to perform roadway constniction(similar to a temporary easement) along the western portion of the <br />new fire station property to enable the temporary bridge to be constructed. <br />The City generally obtains temporary easements for its public improvement projects at no cost It is <br />recommended that the necessary temporary permit to construct be approved at no cost to Mn/DOT. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the attached Temporary Permit to Consbuct at no cost to Mn/DOT. <br />. <br />mam mum lnmiiifiiMriijiffiiil(I;.: <br />i
