These are the appointment <br />of an Acting Mayor and the appointment of a Planning Commission Chair. The appointment of the <br />Acting Mayor is needed due to the resignation of Dick Flint, who was the Acting Mayor. The <br />appointment of a Planning Commission Chair is needed because Liz Hawn, the current Planning <br />Commission Chair, has asked to be relieved of the duties of the Chair. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to adopt an amended 2002 Council appointments resolution to make new appointments to <br />the positions of Acting Mayor and Planning Commission Chair.
