ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, APRIL 8,2002 ihth MEETING <br />APR 2 2 2002 <br />ROLL CITy Or OHOno <br />The Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Barbara Peterson, Council Menrbers Jay Nygard, Jim White, Richard Flint, and Bob <br />Sansevere. Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director Mike <br />Gaffron, City Attorney Tom Barrett, Zoning Administrator Wendy Bottenberg, City <br />Engineer Tom Kellogg, Public Services Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Alissa <br />Wintemheimer. <br />Zoning Administrator Paul Weinberger was absent. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Approvc/Amend <br />Items 8 and 11 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Flint moved, and Sansevere seconded, to approve the consent agenda as amended. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />RECOGNITION <br />2. Sill Stoddard, Planning Commission —Resolution No. s. J3 <br />Mayor Peterson read the resolution to Bill Stoddard, commending him on his <br />distinguished service as a member of the Planning Commission for six years, and thanked <br />him for a!! he has done. <br />White stated that Mr. Stoddard was one of the first Planning Commissioners he got to <br />know and he was sad to see him depart. White thanked him for his service and wished <br />him well. <br />Flint stated that he appreciated the way Mr. Stoddard always kept the City ’s best interests <br />in mind. <br />Mr. Stoddard thanked the Council and stated they were welcome to call him if they ever <br />needed his expertise.
