RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING <br />OFFICER BRAD JOHNSON <br />FOR HIS TWENTY-ONE YEARS <br />OF DEDICATED SERVICE <br />TO THE CITY AS A MEMBER OF THE <br />ORONO POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, Officer Brad Johnson has dedicated 29 years of his life to police <br />work, 21 with the City of Orono; and <br />WHEREAS, Brad Johnson began his employment with the City as a full ­ <br />time Police Officer on January 1,1981; and <br />WHEREAS, his dedication to quality police work earned him the assignment <br />of Investigator, Fire Arms Instn'ctor. and Fire Arms Armorer; and <br />WHEREAS, Officer Johnson has carried out these responsibilities with a <br />commitment to service and safety; and <br />WHEREAS, Brad Johnson is retiring from his position as Police Officer <br />effective April 30,2002. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council <br />does hereby recognize and commend Officer Brad Johnson for his twenty-one years <br />of dedicated service to the community on the Orono Police Department. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does hereby <br />congratulate Officer Johnson on his retirement, and extends its best wishes for a long, <br />happy and healthy retirement. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held <br />this 8th day of April, 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
