Preparing a computer model of a large paper facility and <br />performing fault studies and relay coordination using SKM’s <br />Power Tools for Windows (PTW). <br />2. Serving as Project Engineer for a “design &build ” project for <br />Xcel Energy near Denver, CO. Project consisted of the <br />installation of two 45 MVAR, 115 kV capacitors SW of Denver <br />and two 36 MVAR 115 kV capacitors at Greeley, CO. <br />Installations utilized 145 kV IPO breakers. Both locations <br />required modifications to existing facilities. <br />Associated Consultants Engineers, Inc.(ACEI) Plymouth, MN <br />8/92-10/2(MM) Consulting Electrical Engineer— Provided consulting services to <br />municipal electric power systems in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. <br />Specifically, prepared bid specifications for furnishing and installation <br />of power transformers, switchgear, substations and other distribution <br />equipment. Performed special studies for distribution planning, power <br />flow, short circuit, and relay coordination using software such as EZ- <br />Power, SKM’s PTW, and MilSoft's WindMil. <br />Arrowhead Management Servkes-Golden Valley, MN <br />2/91-8/92 Attempted to market engineering services pertaining to Utility <br />Mapping and Information Systems. <br />Owatonna Public Utilities, Owatonna, MN <br />6/84-1/91 Distribution Superintendent (Gas and Electric) <br />Facilitated major changes at the Utility including application of <br />personal computers to engineering and drafting. During my tenure the <br />Electric System load went from 30 MW to 50 MW. <br />Served as Project Manager for a major substation project (East <br />Owatonna Station)
