The original variance was granted in 1997 and renewed in 1998,1999,2000,
and 2001. Rii l ard and Jane Stark bought the property in 2001 and were the owners when the
variances were renewed in 2001.
The applicants builder, Ron Lauer applied for a building permit and when the plans were
reviewed there was a conflict with the amount of hardcover in the 0-75' setback zone versus the
amount approved. The plans had a larger amount than the approved plan. The owTier agreed to
remove the excess hardcover.
On February 11,2002, City Council reviewed this application and by a 3 to 0 vote directed staff
to bring the application to Planning Commission for further review. Council members stated
they did not have concerns with the changes but because the site plan is different than previously
approved. Planning Commission should review the changes, make the appropriate
recommendation and then go forward to the City Council for final action.
1-2706 Richard and Jane Stark
815 Partenwood
Variance Changes
page I of 3
