Gaflron
Title: Planning Director
Admiabtrator Approval:Agenda Section:
Zoning
Item Description: #2480 Spring Hill Golf Club, 72S Sixth Avenue North
• Extend Effective Period of Final Plat Approval
Lbt of Exhibits
A • Final Plat Approval Resolution No. 4S77
B - Resolution to Extend Effective Period of Final Plat Approval (for adoption)
As a housekeeping matter. Council granted flnal approval for the platting of the Spring Hill Golf
Club project on December 11,2000. The primary intent of the plat is to effect formal combination
of the various parcels involved, as well as to define the easements to be granted over wetlands and
drainageways.
The plat has not yet been filed pending completion of certain quit-claim documents which nullify
old wetland easements in favor of new ones shown on the plat. We expect these to be completed
shortly, and we expect Medina will also be signing the plats in the near future (you may recall the
Spring Hill golf course is partially in Medina). These are the last two items needed so we can file
the plat.
Final plat approval is effective for 6 months, which expired in June 2001. Council is requested to
waive the requirement for filing a new plat application (as that would serve no functional purpose)
and extend the effective period of final plat approval to June 11,2002.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED
Motion to adopt Resolution No.___Extending the Effective Period of Final Plat Approval for the
Spring Hill Golf Club, File #2480.
