The project agreement was for an equal split of costs between the two cities <br />to complete the project. The City of Plymouth administered the project and has paid the project <br />cost.. We have received the second and final invoices for this project in the amount of $ 168.007.95. <br />We had previously paid Plymouth $451,383.00 for this project, so our total share of project costs is <br />$619,390.35. I he total project cost was $1,238,781.90. The project costs arc eligible for State Aid <br />finding reimbursement with the c.xception of $4,598.84 in watemiain repairs. We have already <br />received state aid reimbursement for our first share of the project costs and w ill subinii these costs <br />for reimbursement from state aid. <br />There was $4,598.84 for watemiain maintenance work on the project that is not eligible for state aid <br />reimbursement. This w ork consisted of replacement of existing gate valves that were leaking and <br />replacement of watermain that was in poor condition. This work should be paid for out of the water <br />fund operating budget. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve payment of $168,007.95 to the City of Plymouth for Orono's share of project <br />costs for the State Aid project to reconstruct North Femdale Road. <br />Motion to approve a budget adjustment of $163.409.11 for the year 2001 MSA Fund expenditures <br />for costs to complete the North Femdale Road reconstruction project <br />Motion to approve a budget adjustment of $4,598.84 for the year 2001 Water Fund operating <br /><-xpenditures for watemiain repair costs on the North Fenidale Road reconstruction project.
