Gappa <br />Title Director of Public Services <br />Admin&trator Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Public Services Director's Report <br />Item Description: Golf Course Consulting Services <br />During the budget work session for the year 2002 budget, the Council directed staff to obtain a <br />proposal from an outside consultant to review the city’s golf course operations. We have obtained <br />a proposal from McMurchie Golf Course management to complete a study of the golf course <br />operations and provide recommendations for possible operational improvements at the golf course. <br />Myself and Ron Stefffenhagen, Golf Course Manager, have met with Mr. McMurchie to discuss the <br />scope of services for the proposed study. We are very satisfied with his knowledge of golf course <br />operations and his preliminary thoughts and insights on our golf course operation and recommend <br />acceptance of the proposal for consulting services in the amount of $3,000. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED; <br />Motion to accept proposal from McMurchie Golf Management Inc. for Golf Facility Consulting <br />Services in the amount of $3,000. <br />Motion to approve a budget adjustment for the year 2002 golf course operating budget to add $3,000 <br />to line item 613-49830-3 19 Other Professionsil Services for additional consulting services. <br />i
