The application <br />consists of the following: <br />1. Hardcover variance in order to add a 42 s.f. staircase to their existing deck within the 75 ’- <br />250’ zone. <br />2. Hardcover variance to allow a 10’ x 12 ’ shed (additional 120 s.f. hardcover) within the <br />75 ’-250’ zone. <br />3. Hardcover variance in order to remove 808 s.f. of driveway hardcover which was removed <br />in order to obtain a building permit for an addition constructed in 2000. Between 2000 and <br />2003 the driveway hardcover was reinstalled.__________________________________ <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />On November 17.2003. Planning Commission voted 5-1 in order to: <br />A. Approve the hardcover variance to consuuct a 10’ x 12 ’ (120 s.f.) shed within the 75 ’-250’ <br />setback zone with the following stipulations: <br />1) Removal of the 808 s.f. of driveway hardcover. <br />2) Removal of all plastic and fabric liners from landscaping areas. <br />B. Deny the additional hardcover in order to add a 42 s.f. staircase to the existing deck. The <br />applicants were advised to incorporate the staircase within the deck upon reconstruction. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Approval per the attached Resolution. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Adopt or amend the attached resolution.
