7 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE <br />FRIENDS OF THE PARKS AWARD <br />TO BARBARA WULF <br />IN RECOGNITION OF, AND APPRECIATION FOR, <br />HER OUTSTANDING AND DEDICATED EFFORTS <br />IN SERVICE TO THE CITY <br />AND ITS PARK SYSTEM <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5074 <br />WHEREAS, the quality of the City's park system is dependent upon and <br />enhanced by the volunteer efforts of Orono citizens; and <br />WHEREAS, Barbara Wulf has contributed many hours of volunteer effort <br />toward enhancing the Seven Nations Park area; and <br />WHEREAS, her efforts have included installing landscaping, as well as <br />persuading a local church to donate benches for the park; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is extremely fortunate to have a citizen with the <br />commitment and desire to contribute her efforts toward enhancing the City's park <br />system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council <br />does hereby award the Friends of the Parks Award to Barbara Wulf, and does also <br />hereby recognize, and express its sincere appreciation for her outstanding efforts, <br />commitment, and contributions to the City and its paiic system. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 10th day of November, 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
