t'- •• • <br />IV. Cost Analysis <br />Detailed cost estimates for the proposed improvements are presented in the appendices. These costs <br />include a 5 percent contingency, a 20 percent allowance for design, inspection, legal, and <br />administration costs, and a S percent allowance for c^italized interest and bonding costs during <br />construction. The estimated costs shown in this report are based on 2003 unit prices and can be <br />related to the ENR Construction Cost Index for October, 2003 of 6,771. A summary of the estimated <br />costs for the proposed improvements is presented in Table 1. <br />Table 1.
