Service, Pride and Quality <br />November 4,2003 <br />RE: Trapping Permit Application <br />Dear Homeowner: <br />This letter is to inform you that an application has been made to trap beaver that are <br />currently doing damage to private property in the area of the cul-de-sac end of Orono <br />Oaks Road in the city of Orono. This damage involves the destruction of trees on private <br />property and the flooding with subsequent damage to the road bed of Orono Oaks Drive. <br />Orono Oaks Drive is a private road which is owned and maintained by the adjoining <br />property owners. <br />The primary trapping focus is to occur in the area of 1320 Orono Oaks Drive. City <br />ordinance requires all property owners liNing within 500 feet of the trap area be aware <br />that trapping permits are being considered. Should you wish to address the Council prior <br />to the permit being issued to express any concerns or support , please note that this matter <br />will be decided at the November 10,2003 Orono City Council Meeting. As an alternate <br />to appearing before the Council you may contact Sgt.
