N./ CR6 Sewer Extension- Resolution <br />Two property owners have signed assessment waivers requesting to be assessed for the Brown Road <br />N./ County Road 6 (Phillips Group Home) Sanitary Sewer Extension project. There is a total of four <br />units in the project area, and the total project costs are $34,000 which results in an $8,500 cost for <br />each unit. The owner of the Phillips Group Home, who requested the project, will be assessed for <br />three units. The property owner at 2135 Sixth .Avenue North will be assessed for one unit. The <br />assessment terms are for a 15-year time period at an annual interest rate of 6.25%. <br />The remaining two properties in the project area will be charged the applicable connection charge <br />for the project when they connect to the sewer. The connection charge Aill be $8,500 in 2004 and <br />will be increased for inflation ever> year. Any future connection fees collected will be refunded to <br />the Phillips Group Home owner. This is the same procedure that was approved for the recent North <br />Long Lake East Sewer Project for which one property owner funded the project costs. <br />The staff recommendation is for approval of the resolution adopting the assessment roll. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve the resolution adopting the assessment roll for the Brown Road N./ County Road <br />6 Sanitary Sewer Extension project. <br />i <br />! <br />il <br />I <br />i
