The result <br />of this process is a recommendation to purchase a Contender model demonstrator pumper <br />manufactured by Pierce, a national fire equipment manufacturer. <br />Detailed information regarding this vehicle was provided at a council worksession held on October <br />7, at which time the council authorized staff to move forward with the purchase. Formal action of <br />the Council is requested at this time to ratify the approval of the purchase. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the purchase of the Pierce Contender Pumper, Demo # 3943271, mounted on a <br />IHC chassis, ^\ith related equipment, at a cost of $197,500.00, to be funded from the Navarre <br />Fire Station and Equipment Bonds Construction Fund. <br />^ - ~r,m inMiWii aiiiirti
