It runs <br />parallel to the water's edge and b braced on the ends by concrete letums. It retains approximately <br />eight feet of earth At some time, the area was in-fiUed with a wooden deck. Therimofthedeefcis <br />bolted directly to the fUD length ofthe wan and one on return The rim busing the waU fix support. <br />Within the last fiew years, the entire wall has been covered with rou^-sawn fenehtg material that <br />makes a conipicte review of the wall impouible. In several areas where the wall be*posed,th«e are <br />ttgna of eraeking in the concrete. <br />It b our opinion that the retaining wall wu not originaliy designed to require the supplemental <br />brachqs of the deck. However, due to the preaent deterioration of the concrete in the wall, the deck <br />may be providing some stability <br />The opkdons in thb rcpoit are based on limited visual obseivalions xdy.
