State law provides that Cities shall make decisions on zoning requests within 60 da\s from the date of application, and that this review period may be extended an additional 60 days by notification to the applicant. Your application was deemed complete on May 23, 2003. The initial 60-day review period was extended an additional 60 days on June 24, 2003 to September 20, 2003. However, because your application has been tabled by the Plaruiing Commission to the September 15 meeting, the earliest potential date of final Council action falls after the authorized review period ends. Therefore, in order to avoid Council action to deny the application, you must formally agree to a further extension of the review periud.
