Hardcover variance for the 75-250’ zone to allow 37.6% hardcover when 25% is <br />normally allowed and 50.5% currently exists. <br />2. Hardcover variance for the 250-500 ’ zone to allow 42.7% hardcover when 30% is <br />normally allowed and 55% currently exists. <br />3. Structural coverage variance to allow 19.4% when 15% is required.______________ <br />Staff Recommendation: Staff recommendations: <br />1. Denial of the proposal due to the increases in structural coverage beyond w hat is <br />allowed by Ordinance. No unique hardship has been presented which would justify <br />expanding the current home’s footprint, given alternatives for an addition exist. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />Denial of the request consistent with staff s recommendation, on a unanimous vote of 7-0. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Deny the request consistent with Planning Commission ’s recommendation. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Direct staff to draft a denial resolution for adoption at the October 13,2003 City Council meeting.
