f ~ . <br />#03*2919 90 Myrticwood Road <br />AugHit 21,2003 <br />Page 2 <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />Planning Commission reviewed this request at their August i8 meeting and on a vote of 5-0 <br />recommended as follows: <br />1.Approval of setback variance to allow the new 996 s.f accessory building to be located 1 <br />from the side street lot line where a 50' setback is normally required. <br />2.of an Oversize Accessory Structure variance to allow the attachment of the new 996 <br />s.f building to thf^ existing 848 s.f. garage via a 165 s.f greenhouse which would yield a 2009 <br />s.f accesson; I'^'ture on a lot of less than 2 acres in area where no oversize accessory <br />structures ai vwv'.ially allowed. ^ <br />3.Approval of a variance to allow the proposed 900 s.f pool to be located 15* (rather than the <br />requTr^*^^ fro™ S'de street lot line where a 50’ setback would normally be <br />4.Applicant to cst^l sh and maintain year-round vegetative screening along the south boundary <br />to reduce the visual impact of the proposed pool and building. <br />5.Approval of a conditional use permit to allow plumbing in the new accessoiy building (toilet <br />shower and sink) subject to the standard conditions defined in the City code. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff concurs with the recommendation of the Planning Commission. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED
