The additional deputies have had a positive effect on the <br />safety and enjoyment of the boating experience on Lake Minnetonka. For 2004, the Hennepin <br />County Sheriff has indicated he intends to reallocate the ftmding for the additional deputies to other <br />priorities. The attached resolution requests Hennepin County and the Sheriff to continue to fully <br />fund the additional Water Patrol Deputies on Lake Minnetonka. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the adoption of the attached resolution requesting continuing full funding for <br />additional Water Patrol Deputies on Lake Miimetonka. <br />I ii*iffriii n Stiii fWi
