Joanne & George Applebaum
4109 Highwood Road
B-l
Orono, Minnesota 55364
(952) 472-1270
Gapple @ aol.com
March 17,2003
Bobbi & Jack Henrich
4125 Highwood Road
Orono, MN 5S364
Dear Bobbi & Jack,
At your request, and at the recommendation of the city, we are writing this letter to express our
thoughts to your reouest for a variance to the city’s average lakeshore setback ordinance. First, we
want you to know mat we are excited about your upcoming project and thrilled at the prospect of
having you as neighbors indefinitely!
Now back to the issue at hand. We strongly support the issuance of the variance, as we cannot
imagine a situation in which the positioning of your new home <mi your lot would in any way have a
negative impact with our enjoyment of our fabulous lake views. From what you have described, 1
don’t believe that we would even see your new house from ours.
If we can be of further assistance, please contact us.
Warmest regards,
Joanne & Geoige Applebaum
jx o Qittjt.
r-'
■6 ”'^-^
4i
i
