Stat. <br />References to a department of public works are changed to reference a department of public <br />services. <br />AH insurance requirements arc changed to a minimum of $1 million. <br />Obsolete sections have been removed. <br />Following is a list of changes that were made to specific sections of the code, followed by comments related <br />to each change: <br />Description of Change Comments <br />1. Sec. 2, Article IV “De/»ar/wn?/i/' <br />- Added new section “City <br />Departments ” <br />Language added: “City Departments. City departments shall be <br />established as needed to provide for the delivery of city senices. <br />The heads of such departments shall report to the city <br />administrator, and shall perform such duties as assigned by the <br />city administrator." <br />6. Sec. 2-171-Added Tees to be <br />established by resolution * <br />Allows Council to adopt fees by resolution, unless a fee change is <br />required by law to be established by ordinance; thus the city is not <br />required to publish and mail an ordinance when there is a fee <br />change during the year. <br />7. Sec. 2-X12 "Disposal of excess <br />property " - Changed value <br />Estimated value of surplus property changed from $500 to $100.
